Today is first day but my heart is cryingi (Nagoya-Basho 2010 July)

I think all sumo fans know what happened to Sumo world.

Illegal gambling has been brought to light.

Ozeki Kotomitsuki and Otake Oyakata(=stable master) were fired.

They bet much money habitually.

And 6 Makuuchi Division wrestler is suspended for Nagoya-Basho.

6 wrestlers are Goeido,Toyohibiki,Toyonoshima,Miyabiyama,Wakakoyu and Okinoumi.

I am sumo fans from younger days.

And I had believed wrestlers and his master and all staffs applies themselves to sumo-do.

But some of them are not.

I am really disappointed that now sumo world is full of problems.

This is the last chance for sumo to reborn .

Now sumo world lost its mind.

But Baruto has one.

Dohyo(=ring) is disgraced by Japanese sumo wrestlers.

I have to say sorry to Baruto.

Baruto and other wrestlers are only hope.

Scandal of Ozeki Kotomitsuki......

琴光喜から事情聴取　野球賭博疑惑で脅迫受ける？　警視庁

　大相撲の大関琴光喜関（３４）＝本名・田宮啓司、佐渡ケ嶽部屋＝が、野球賭博へのかかわりを口外しない見返りとして、現金を要求されていた疑いがあることが２２日、捜査関係者への取材で分かった。

　警視庁組織犯罪対策３課は同日、琴光喜関本人から任意で事情聴取し、事実関係について直接説明を求めた。

　捜査関係者によると、琴光喜関は違法のプロ野球賭博に関与していた疑いがあるとされ、勝ち金を要求したところ、「賭博にかかわっていることをばらされたくなければ、口止め料を払え」という趣旨の脅迫を受けたとされる。

　琴光喜関は報道陣に対し、２２日までに野球賭博への関与について「まったく知らない。（脅迫も）まったくない」と全面否定しており、組対３課にも同様の説明をしたとみられる。

Yesterday after tournament Ozeki Kotomitsuki was detected by Metropolitan Police Department.

The reason was Kotomitsuki was concerned with illegal betting for baseball.

The suspicion was Kotomitsuki was intimidated by crime syndication.

Kotomitsuki won betting and he requested money back and the gang said if you want not to be opend this illegal matter to public,pay hush money.

Kotomitsuki denied this suspicion to Police department.

Now this scandal is under investigating.

New scandal of Asashoryu

During Grand sumo tournament Jan,News paper reported Asa stroke his manager when they drunk at Azabu.

This matter was reported to Nihon Sumo Kyokai by Asa's master.

"not so important matter"

So once this was ended.

But the true story was the man stroke by Asa was ordinal person and he got injured his nose bone broken.

So head quater of Sumo kyokai could not neglect this matter.

And they say the police will let Asa to come to office...

If this matter is fact,Asa will be punished.

3 years ago,Asa was punished once .

2 tournaments was off and salary off.

If this will be second times,Asa will be fired ,,,,,,
