In the interview before bout,Baruto said he felt big tired in this tournament.

Baruto meets Maegashira #4 Kitataiki.

This is their first bout in Makuuchi Division.

Kitataiki belongs to Kitanoumi-Beya(=stable).

Kitanoumi is a great Yokozuna in 1970's.

Kitanoumi means kita(=north) ,no(=of),umi(=lake)

Usually umi means sea but his kanji character 湖(=mizu umi =lake).

Then Kitataiki means kita(=north),tai(=big,thick),ki(=tree)

Kitanoumi is from Hokkaido(=north part of Japan).

But Kitataiki is from Tokyo.

Kitataiki is 7-6.

Baruto missed rocket start and was pressed to the edge of ring.

But Baruto gripped right over so he could stay in the ring.

Kitataiki tried to "Yori" but Baruto was looking for a chance to throw Uwatenage.

Finally Baruto threw completely.

Ozeki BARUTO ○(UWATEANAGE)× KITATAIKI Megashira#4

10 wins 4 loses.

Baruto could step up to 10 wins line.

This is very important.

As usually,10 wins is must for Ozeki.

9wins 6loses Ozeki is called "Kunroku Ozeki"(Kun=9,Roku=6).

This word is kind of jeer by fans.

In this tournament,Baruto could not chase champion race but over 10 wins is good for new born Ozeki.

Baruto meets Sekiwake Kisenosato today.

Baruto is 8-4.

Kisenosato is 7-5.

Win is best medicine.

Baruto shifted (="Henka") at starting.

I think this was not Baruto wanted to do.

But I understand you,Baruto.

Ozeki BARUTO ○(HATAKIKOMI)× KISENOSATO Sekiwake

9 wins 4 loses.

Aran won today and 10-3.

But Hakuho defeated Ozeki Kotomitsuki.

It meant Hakuho passed the goal line of Emperor's cup this tournament.

This is his 14 times of "Yusho".

It is tie to former Yokozuna Wajima.

We have to say congratulation to Hakuho this time.

But remembar! Next time we will say same words to our Baruto.

I went to Kokugikan to cheer up our Baruto!

I got a lot of message from Estonian sumo fans.

(Additionally I got emaii from I san with many vocie files!! Thank you so much)

I am not sure our voices reached to Baruto or not.

But I am convinced our challenge is never ended.

As you knew already,Baruto today could not show his sumo.

Hakuho pressed Baruto with full throttle.

What happened to you Baruto?

Many fans want to ask this.

But please wait now.

We can imagine great changes after ozeki promotion had occurred.

Mass media surrounded Baruto.

And Newspaper wrote Baruto would get Empero's trophy in this tournament.

Baruto had to attend many events.

All those things around Baruto pressed Baruto.

Specially Baruto lost his sumo style after lost bout with Kakuryu.

Baruto has looked hastening to win.

When we throw stone,we can trace parabolaic orbit.

After stone reaches the top,stone is going down.

We know stone lost his speed at the top.

I think man should be a challenger it is no limits of speed.

Baruto is now ozeki but ozeki rank brings no power.

Baruto and we re-mind we are challenger.

I think Yokozuna is top but not the goal.

Yokozuna is another name of "challenger " to pursue his sumo.

Let's re-start our journey to sumo-do from tomrrow onward ,Baruto!
