Ozumo Rijikai (=board of directors) promoted Ama to Ozeki in next tournament.

Ama and his master Isegahama Oyakata (=former Yokozuna Asahifuji) got the messenger from
Ozumo Rijikai today.

Ama accepted this promotion with his words,


Ama got a new Shikona(=wrestler's name) from his master.
Harumafuji is his new name.
Haru is the Sun.
Ma is horse which is same lette of Ama's Ma.
Fuji is Mt Fuji shich is highest mountain in Japan

HAKUHO won the Play off with Ama and got trophy in this tournament.
Hakuho showed YOKOZUNA 　dignity.

Today's Baruto's rival is Ama.

As you know, Ama and Hakuho are tie until yesterday.

If Baruto beat Ama and Hakuho win,Hakuho get champion trophy.

Ama is smaller than Baruto.

It's true.

But Ama's tactics was very simple.

Ama made Baruto unbalanced by pushing Baruto's both armpits.

if he loose today, he defines as a Makekoshi(Over 8 losses).

His Shikona (=ring name of sumo wrestler) "Dejima" means the island of Nagasaki Prefecture but he is from Ishikawa Prefecture and his family name is DEJIMA,so,this time ,Dejima is maybe no meaning.

His style is rusher(=tukioshi).
Past result are Baruto2wins and Chiyotaikai4wins.

Chiyotaikai's result in this tournament is 6wins 3losses.
Chiyotaikai has a weak point in his elbow but he has fought well in this tournament.
"chiyo" means thousand years and crown name of Kokonoe beya(=gym).
"taikai" means big sea and it reminds us a big scale and big hope.

His high position and slow start is his weak point until last tournaments.

I am sorry to be late for uploading video and updateing blog .

Baruto is doing really good in this tournament.

Point is he never pull and concentrate at the beginning (=tachiai).

Asasekiryu is a Mongolian Rikishi(=wrestle) and Maegashira#5 ranker.

Past results between Baruto and Asasekiryu are 3-4.

Asasekiryu's result until yesterday is 3 wins 5 losses.

I think Asasekiryu is loosing his style in this tournament.

"koto" means Japanese harp and Sadokatake Beya (=gym) 's wrestler 

has a "koto" in head of his name.

For example,Koto-mituki,Koto-shogiku,,,,,

"oshu" means Europe in Japanese.

"Koto-oshu" means Harp from Europe.

Very beautiful name.

This  was also the biggest two wrestler's match in Makunouchi  matches.

Koto-oshu was not vigor at all.

If Baruto fight in this style, most of wrestlers can not beat Baruto.

But he has great skills.

Baruto is a bigger wrestler than other wrestler.
