Day15 vs Kotoshogiku (Kugatsu-Basho)

Kotoshogiku won harumafuji yesterday.
Kotoshogiku has already passed 33 wins line
for promotion of Ozeki .
Chief of judgement section Takanohana Oyakata offered
to "Rijicho"(=Hanaregoma Oyakata)
to hold the meeting to decide Ozeki promotion
the day after tomorrow.
This means Kotoshogiku Ozeki promotion is almost decided.

This tournament record until yesterday is
2 lost Yokozuna Hakuho,Sekiwake Kotoshogiku
3 lost Sekiwake Kisenosato.
Hakuho vs harumafuji
Kotoshogiku vs Baruto
Goeido vs Kisenosato

If kisenosat wins and Hakuho/Kotoshogiku loose,play-off by three will be held.
If Hakuho and Kotoshogiku win,play-off by two will be held.

Anyway our Baruto has to win to show Ozeki`s dignity to new Ozeki.

Perfect win!!
Kotoshogiku seemed to be hasty and failed starting once.
Baruto got grip, then Kotoshogiku had no chance.

Today`s Bartuo showed a good sumo really.

For next tournament,I want to shape his grip style sumo for all opponents .

Ozeki Baruto w(Uwatenage)L Kotoshogiku Sekiwake10 wins 5 lost.

Gagamaru vs Tochiozan

Goeido vs Kiesnosato

Hakuho vs Harumafuji

Yokozuna Hakuho has gotten the title
of this tournament Championship.
This is his 20th times champion.

And today is the last day of chief referee Kimura Shonosuke.
Kimura Shonosuke is not his real name.
This name is kind of status of chief referee.
He always judge the last bout of day.
His career is 51 years !!!
Thank you,Shounosuke.

WOW! 51 years a referee! What an amazing achievement!! I'm not sure which impresses me the most - Hakuho's 20th career title, Kimura-san's 51 years, or Baruto's win today. A great day for sumo! ビデオー いつも ありがとう ございみました、チュチャイーさま!

thanks one more time for all the video plus your comments during this bashou chuchai-san !
I think we hadn't seen such a of indecisive basho for a long time... it was really fun to watch.
And of course, I think despite Baruto still sometime makes beginner mistakes he gave great power and some very clever bouts, so as to he's still making progress to be little by little a big champion ... yokozuna rank is definitely a realistic dream !!
