Day13 vs Kisenosato (Gogogatsu-Basho 2010 May)

Grand Sumo Tournament Gogatsu-Basho Day13

Baruto meets Sekiwake Kisenosato today.
Baruto is 8-4.
Kisenosato is 7-5.

Win is best medicine.
Baruto shifted (="Henka") at starting.
I think this was not Baruto wanted to do.
But I understand you,Baruto.

Ozeki BARUTO ○(HATAKIKOMI)× KISENOSATO Sekiwake

9 wins 4 loses.

Aran won today and 10-3.
But Hakuho defeated Ozeki Kotomitsuki.
It meant Hakuho passed the goal line of Emperor's cup this tournament.
This is his 14 times of "Yusho".
It is tie to former Yokozuna Wajima.

We have to say congratulation to Hakuho this time.
But remembar! Next time we will say same words to our Baruto.

If you look that match in slow motion, then Baruto didn't use pure henka. Kaido already started to push Kisenosato down before he started his shifting aside.

That's true. I don't think Baruto planned on doing it that way. I think he just saw it as the easiest way to win based on how Kisenosato was coming at him.
