But me,Baruto Mania is still thinking over Baruto victory for Yokozuna Hakuho.

Baruto did it!!!!!

Starting was really good!

Step forward was very fast.

But Baruto could not grip and hakuho got grip.

Baruto twitted himself with arm lock and neck control.

Baruto escaped hakuho's rythem.

Baruto showed "Makikae"(=outside to inside) and "Hazeoshi"(=pushing to armpit)

and "Nodowa"(=pushing to throat part).

Baruto could force Hakuho up completly!!!

And Baruto sensed Hakuho counter attack so Baruto twisted clockwise and pull down by left arm.

I think today baruto attacked and defended carefully.

Very smartly ,speedily and occasionally.

Saturady night.

Baruto meets Ozeki Kotooshu.

Kotooshu has already passed "Kachikoshi" (=over 8 wins) line and escaped from "Kadoban"

(If Ozeki has 2 straight "Makekoshi"(=less than 7 wins),the Ozeki lost his postision.In the next basho to "Makekoshi" basho ,the ozeki is called "Kadoban")

Kotooshu this year lost his sumo style.

His top form is low starting and to get "Maemitsu" and kills opponents sumo and rush forward.

Before Baruto's promoting to Ozeki,I sometimes mentioned Kotooshu's starting and grip sumo was a paragon of sumo of European(I mean body size and long leg is quite different from Asian sumotoris)

Kotooshu forget his sumo.

But,,

I think Kotooshu these days sumo pretty well though he did not make his score satisfactorily.

At starting,Kotooshu tried to get "Maemitsu" and he got it for an instant.

Baruto showed "Inashi" without delay and cut off Kotososhu grip.

This was the point of this bout.

Bartuo has marked 10 wins and 4 losses.

I want to say why Baruto lost 3 in the early days of this tournament.

If not,today Baruto vs Hakuho would be a real play-off.

Our Baruto meets Sekiwake Kisenosato.

Needless to say,Kisenosato is challenging to promotion to Ozeki.

How to promote to Ozeki is 33 wins(par 3 touranment and at upper than komusubi and sekiwake) are magic number.

Kisenosato has to win 11 in this tournament.

But Kisenosato has already lost 3.

Past bout

2011 sep (click) :Baruto won. They gripped each other.

2011 July (click): Baruto won. They chose pushing start.

They chose "Yotsu Sumo" (=grip each other)

Kisenosato got left inside grip and right outside grip.

This was his best style "Hidari Yotsu".

Baruto first could not get grip.

So Kisenosato rushed but not completed to win.

Because Kisenosato right outside grip was loose and Baruto left inside gave him couter "Sukui Nage".

Baruto got both grip "Hidari Yostu".

Baruto and Kisenosato got their grip each other and motion was stopped.

"Gappuri Yostu"(=both favorite style grip and stop motion)

The point is baruto power and Kisenosato"s right outside grip looseness.

He sometimes falled down to front..this is not very often scene in Harumafuji.

This is his first "sanyaku"(=upper rankers than komusubi)

Baruto won today.

It is very important for him to get win and get rythem.

Starting was still nog good.

High waist postition.

If Homasho has a rushing power,,,,,,,,,,,,

I read newspaper everyday and check baruto news.

Now I have no idea that barut's left knee is too bad or not throughnewspaper.

Newspaper does not mention it.

Okinoumi means "Oki" = name island where located in Shimane prefecture which Okinoumi born , and "no"= of ,and "umi" = sea.
Okinoumi is Sea of Oki Island.
He has 192cm and 156 kg.
Not a small "Rikishi".

Starting position was not bad.
But Baruto could not get belt.
Okinoumi got both arms inside (="moro-zashi")



This was the point.
Okinoumi rushed forward so Baruto
Baruto had already lost his balance.

I think Baruto should think starting tactics to get belt.

Past result between them were only one win of Tochinoshin.

過去の対戦は、栃の心が一回勝ったのみ。

Baruto today concentrated on grabbing by right hand.

今日のバルトは、右手でまわしをつかむことに集中していた。

He could not grabbed but put arm under opponent armpit.

まわしをつかめなかったが、脇下に腕を入れることは出来た。

Toochinoshin recognized Baruto could not get belt.

栃の心はバルトがまわしをとっていないことがわかたので。

I think Tochinoshi tried to submit fast.

私が思うのには、栃の心は、勝負を急いだ。

Tochinoshin rushed forward once and Baruto looked forced backward.

But Baruto threw by right arm using Tochinoshin's rushing power.
