Step forward was very fast.

But Baruto could not grip and hakuho got grip.
Baruto twitted himself with arm lock and neck control.
Baruto escaped hakuho's rythem.

Baruto showed "Makikae"(=outside to inside) and "Hazeoshi"(=pushing to armpit)

and "Nodowa"(=pushing to throat part).

Baruto could force Hakuho up completly!!!
And Baruto sensed Hakuho counter attack so Baruto twisted clockwise and pull down by left arm.

I think today baruto attacked and defended carefully.
Very smartly ,speedily and occasionally.

Baruto W(HATAKIKOMI)L Hakuho Yokozuna.

11-4.

Slow Motion

I believe this is an example of a new strategy for Baruto in his fights against Hakuho. Most of their matches has been long tests of stength with Hakuho coming out as the winner due to superior technique. But now Baruto was attacking very forcefully trying to avoid a long match.

I think it was Baruto's best tournament as Ozeki. If not that clumsy start Baruto would be fighting for trophy. But yeah, it's kinda typical for Estonians to need some time to get into right shape. So let's hope next tournament Baruto will start same way as he ended Kyushu-basho.
