I find it interesting that no one but Baruto achieved ten wins, and that Hakuho was so far ahead of everyone else. What does this say about the state of sumo below Hakuho? Is he truly so much better than everyone else? Have the current group of upper rankers stagnated, or are they just so evenly matched with each other that getting ten wins is harder now? The world wonders...
Well, you can see Hakuba also managed 10 wins, but yes, Baruto tops the ozeki despite a mediocre appearing performance. It really was not a bad tournament at all for him if you look at the stats.
