Day14 vs Kakuryu (Kugatsu-Basho 2009 Sep)

Kakuryu is ranked Maegashira #3.

He is from Mongol , 24 years old and his stable (="Heya") Izutsu.

He has already marked 9 wins with defeating 2 ozeki.

Baruto chose the starting attempting to grab belt and he got his way he wanted.

Baruto thought he got enough position to pull up Kakuryu.

But it looked a tittle bit forcible because Baruto's waist position was high.

Baruto should pull up with making his waist position lower not to be re-attacked.

Kakuryu used outside leg trip and Baurto lost his balance completely.

Kakuryu caught Baruto's off guard.

Overconfidence is our greatest enemy.

Baruto ans Tokitenku have had bout once and Baruto defeated at that time.

Tokitenku is noticed as a technician.

Tokitenku tried to change his body and "Hatakikomi"

But Baruto today coould chase Tokitenku's body movement well.

Finally Baruto pulled opponent and "Hatakikomi" was completed.

• or over 35 wins is enough
• but in any cases above mentioned,staying at upper than "SANYAKU" is favorable.

It is too early to discuss Baruto 's ozeki promotion.....if we learn history
but WE BARUTO MANIA has to think about it all the time!!! Right?

After day10,Kotooshu and our Baruto marked 8 wins 2 loses.

Kotooshu's 2 loses were maegashira ranker Kakuryu and ozeki Kaio.

Baruo's 2 loses were yokozuna Asashoryu and Hakuho.

These facts leads to Baruto win,,,,,,.

But past one year results were Baruto's 2 wins 4 loses.

When baruto won,Kotooshu had a severe knee disability.

So 2 wins means nothing, I think.

When Baruto lost 4 ,his start style were 2 pushing(="Tuppari" or "Tsuki-oshi")

and 2 belt grabbing (="Yotsu).

Shotenro in this tournament got "Kinboshi" from Yokozuna HAKUHO

but this Kinboshi is only his win he got until yesterday.

He tried to grab Shotenro belt by his left arm.
This was his usual style until last tournament.

Shotenro showed his grinning face after bout.

I guess Shotero was big surprised of Baruto's power.

It could be nice that he has many tactics.

Komusubi Aminishiki is a top Kinboshi holder of defeating Asashoryu.

Yesterday Aminishiki slightly defeated Asashoryu.

Aminishiki is not a easy wrestler for Baruto to defeat.

Baruto in this tournament is gaining new style.

It is rushing forward quickly without belt grabbing.

"Ottuke" is also remarkably efficient.

Today Baruto showed very aggressive rushing sumo.

Aminishiki could not do anything.

Ozeki Kotooshu and Kotomitsuki belong to same stable(=HEYA) SADOGATAKE.

Both ozekis have been thought to be too kind and too gentle to be Yokozuna.

But they had changed their fights after last tournament.

We felt their mind had changed.

Newspapers said they did "Keiko"(=daily exercise) almost double quantity.

They are aiming to be Yokozuna from bottom of their hearts,I think.

So we can not neglect their bouts.

Day6 vs Kotoshogiku (Kugatsu-Basho 2009 Sep)

Past resulut between Kotoshogiku and Baruto are almost tie.

When Kotoshogiku won, he dived to Baruto's waist position and rushed.

When Baruto won, he sometimes pulled up Kotoshogiku .

Until last bout,their bouts were typical small wrestler vs big wrestler one.

But today's bout are quite different from the past bouts.

Baruto rushed quickly without grabbing koto's belt.
In this tournament, Baruto is using his left arm efficiently.
You know "Ottuke"?
Baruto pressed Kotoshogiku's right arm by his left arm.
Baruto did not care whether he grab opponent belt or not.

This is called "Ottuke".

This style can be seen also yesterday's bout against Hakuho.

Their debu date were same and came from same country Mongol.

But Hakuho is Yokozuna and Shotenro is promoting very very slowly.

I think Hakuho underestimates Shotenro.

Hakuho's start was not sharp today cause of lack of concentration.

We had dreamt Baruto defeated Hakuho first time.

But there was a big wall between Baruto and Hakuho.

When Baruto reached left arm under to Hakuho belt,Baruto should rush forward.

But he couldn't rush.

For a lower ranker,to defeat Yokozuna, he has to choose tactic to make Yokozuna upset.

Baruto is reminding to rush quick forward on "TACHIAI" (= starting)

This is good way.

But I want to say one thing.

When he step forward ,his soles are sometimes in the air.

Just stepping.

This is not good way.

He should rush forward with "SURI ASHI"(=rush without sole in the air)

In this way, opponent can not get chance to re-attack.

But some friends said live time is night time and they can not watch live.

Today I found my YouTube account was completely deleted by YouTube team.

I think Brad Pitt CM copy video is bad,,,,,,

But all my video I took originally also were gone...

I lost my way now.
